Brand design that does the heavy lifting
A logo is not a brand. A brand is the reason someone picks you over the other lot.
Thinking about a rebrand, a new website, or both? Let's work out what your business actually needs.
Talk through your projectWhat we actually do when we say "branding".
A logo needs to work on a billboard and a favicon. On a hi-vis vest and a LinkedIn banner. In black and white, on a fax – yes, some of our clients' industries still fax things. We design identities that survive contact with reality, not just look good on a Behance post.
You'll get a proper logo system – primary mark, secondary marks, clear space rules, colour variations – not a single file and a pat on the back.
Before we draw anything, we figure out what you're actually trying to say and to whom. Positioning is the bit most agencies skip because it's harder to put on Instagram. It's also the bit that determines whether your brand connects with real people or just looks nice in a case study.
We'll dig into your market, your competitors, your customers, and the things that genuinely make you different – not the things you wish made you different. Then we build from there.
Brand guidelines that live in a PDF nobody opens are not brand guidelines. They're a waste of everyone's time. We build systems that are actually usable — clear rules, practical templates, and enough flexibility that your team can create things without breaking the brand or calling us every Tuesday.
The goal is a brand that looks consistent whether it's your marketing lead, your admin, or your external printer producing the work.
Sometimes you don't need to burn it all down. Sometimes you do. We'll tell you which. A rebrand is a big decision – it affects signage, uniforms, vehicles, stationery, your website, your email signatures, and the feelings of whoever picked the last logo. We manage all of that, including the feelings.
We've rebranded businesses from two-person startups to established companies with 30 years of history. The process is different each time. The care isn't.
We've been working with The Caretakers for about a year now, and it's been a great experience. Agmax was looking to rebrand, refresh our digital presence, and establish a strong strategic foundation. The team brings a wealth of expertise, consistently delivers on their promises (and then some), and, above all, they're genuinely just a bunch of good people.
You've made it past the testimonials. At this point you should probably just call us.
Really, reach outRebranding and website design, together
One team. From brand strategy to your new website.

We start by understanding your business, your customers and why you're making a change. Then we work through positioning, visual identity and the practical places your brand needs to work – from packaging and signage to the website. The people designing the brand work alongside the people building the site, not on opposite sides of a handover.
For Agmax, that meant bringing a 30-year-old agricultural business into its next chapter with a refreshed identity, product packaging and a new website. The work changed how the business presented itself while keeping its heritage and practical, no-nonsense character.
Go on then
You'll talk to the person who'll actually design your brand.
If you're in Auckland, we can meet in person – coffee's on us. If you're anywhere else in New Zealand, a video call works fine. Either way you'll be talking to the people who'd actually be working on your brand, not someone who disappears after the pitch.
Call us on 09 929 1216 or email [email protected]. Or fill in the form if that's more your thing – we check it daily and actually reply.
